يتكون مستوى الطالب الأول من جزأين (كتابين) يَضُمّان (16) وَحْدَةً (8 وحدات لكل جزء), تتألّفُ كُلُّ وَحدةٍ من (9) دُروسٍ, وبِهذا يحتوي هذا المستوى على (144) درساً أساسِيّا. وقد جاء توزيع دروس كُلِّ وَحْدَةٍ كما يلي
الدَّرْسُ الأوَّلُ: الحوار الأول , ومفرداته وتدريباتـها. (2 صفحتان)
الدَّرْسُ الثّانِي: الحوار الثاني , ومفرداته وتدريباتـها. (2 صفحتان)
الدَّرْسُ الثّالث: الحوار الثالث , ومفرداته وتدريباتـها. (2 صفحتان)
الدَّرْسُ الرّابع: تدريبات المفردات مجتمعة , والمفردات الإضافية. (2 صفحتان)
الدَّرْسُ الخامس: التراكيب النحوية وتدريباتـها. (4 صَفَحاتٍ)
الدَّرْسُ السّادس: الأصوات وفهم المسموع. (3 صَفَحاتٍ)
الدَّرْسُ السّابع: الكلام وتدريباته. (3 صَفَحاتٍ)
الدَّرْسُ الثّامن: القراءة وتدريباتـها. (3 صَفَحاتٍ)
الدَّرْسُ التّاسع: الكتابة وتدريباتـها. (4 صَفَحاتٍ)

الاختبارات والتقويم
يتضَمّنُ مستوى الطالبِ الأول بجزأيه نوعين من الاختبارات
اختبارات قصيرة : وعددها (8) اختباراتٍ قصيرةٍ (بعد كل وحدتين)
اختباران موسعان ؛ لتقييم المستوى
اختبار نِصْفيّ موسع عندَ مُنتصَفِ المستوى (بنهاية الكتاب الأول من المستوى)
واختبار نِهائي شامِل في آخرِ المستوى (بنهاية الكتاب الثاني من المستوى)
ويضم مستوى الطالب الأول في آخره مجموعة من المفردات المساندة المصوّرة، وقائمة بمفردات كلّ وحدة، وأخرى بمفردات هذا المستوى مرتّبة هجائيا، ويضم نصوص فهم المسموع, كما يتبعه ملحق صوتي على قرص مدمج يقارب ثمان ساعات لجميع نصوص هذا المستوى وبعض تدريباته. وقد سبق بكتيب تمهيدي منفصل يعد مدخلا للتعليم الحروف العربية
The first level consists of two parts (books), each of which includes 8 units (total of 16 units). Each unit consists of 9 lessons, constituting a total of 144 basic lessons in this level.

Tests and Evaluations:
Two types of tests are included in the first level:
1. Short tests: 8 tests in each two units
2. Two comprehensive tests for determining level:
- Midlevel comprehensive test (at the end of the first book)
- Final comprehensive test (at the end of the second book)
At the end, the first level includes a group of vocabularies with illustrated pictures. It also comprises lists for vocabularies used in each unit and another list for all vocabularies used in the level arranged alphabetically. It also contains listening texts along with an audio materials (8 hours) covering all texts and some of the exercises included. There is also a preparatory booklet for teaching Arabic letters.
