A Study of Juz' One: Alif Lam Mim is a textbook in the IQRA' Program of Islamic Studies at the senior level and is also a Qur'anic reading book for the general public. This publication follows the same organization and methodology as used in IQRA's now well-established textbooks The Qur'an Juz' 'Amma: 30, Part I and II and Seven Surahs. With the publication of A Study of Juz' One: Alif Lam Mim, IQRA' Foundation is taking an ambitious step towards serializing the meaning and message of the Qur'an by publishing one Juz' every two months. They hope to complete the Qur'an in five years. This serialization will enable our students and readers to study the Qur'an in the two major translations of 'Abdullah Yusuf 'Ali and Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthal, which have been rendered into modem English, and then follow it word for word. This textbook covers Surat Al-Fatiha and Surat Al-Baqarah through verse 141.
